This Is Me Adversity Scholarship, Inspired by Ryan Risco & Cait Chivonne Polhill
The $500 This Is Me Adversity Scholarship will be awarded to up to four Class of 2027 graduating seniors from each of the following high schools: Croton-Harmon, Hendrick Hudson, Lakeland, Peekskill, and Walter Panas. This scholarship honors students who have faced adversity and/or supported others through challenges and who plan to pursue post-secondary education through college, trade school, or military service.
Deadline for Submission: March 1, 2027 by 11:59PM EST

Note: If the required letter of recommendation is being submitted separately by a school representative, please have them email the letter to us at info@thisismefoundation.com within 24 hours of the rest of the application materials being submitted, and include the applicant’s full name in the subject line.
Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability, or ethnic origin. All application materials will remain private within the selection committee and will not be shared outside the committee without the applicant’s consent. Applicants may apply for only one This Is Me Foundation scholarship.
